Sofyan explained that prior to coming to the outlet, he had registered on Smartfren’s website.

Galeri Smartfren division head Ochie Camasosa said that unlike the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, Smartfren did not receive pre-orders for the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

The mobile phone operator opened registration last Friday, requiring iPhone enthusiasts to register their emails to get a notification for the opening of the iPhone's sale.

As there were no queue numbers, those who wanted to purchase the new iPhone series could come to the outlet at anytime. (jes/kes)
