The Jakarta Police have tweeted an invitation to all bloggers, YouTubers and social media users to get involved in the #SebarkanBeritaBaik (spread good news) campaign.

Detailed information is explained in the video on the tweet. It also includes a Citizen Journalism Social Media Competition as one of its titles.

Other than the requirement to use #SebarkanBeritaBaik, another bearing the words #HormatiPerbedaan (respect differences) is also needed.

Bloggers are expected to create positive content about the topic, while vloggers need to create a documentary or a video clip, which they can upload to YouTube.

Those who are active on social media with active followers, as well as those who have positive and creative ideas are welcome to join the contest.

Prizes include a laptop, camera, a smartphone and trophies. The main prize is a motorcycle and the chance to cover a regional police chief’s air patrol on a helicopter. (wng)
