Nita Octobijanthy has lost her battle with lung cancer.
ita Octobijanthy, the wife of legendary comedian Indro from the Warkop group, passed away on in South Jakarta on Tuesday night after a battle with lung cancer.
She had just celebrated her 59th birthday.
“May God give the best for you and us all. I love you for a lifetime,” wrote Indro on his official Instagram account, along with the hashtag #defeatcancer.

Actor Tora Sudiro, who stepped into the role of Indro’s character in Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Boss, remembered Nita fondly.
“We often made jokes and laughed together,” Tora told tribunnews.com, adding that he had grown close to Indro’s family outside of filming.
Nita will be laid to rest in Karet Bivak public cemetery (TPU) in South Jakarta. (wir/mut)
