The Jakarta administration has ordered three developers to build seven new towers of low-cost apartments in West Jakarta.
Jakarta Housing Agency head Arifin said on Tuesday that the three developers, Sampoerna Land, Mulia Karya Gumilang and Keppel Land, had breached the floor area ratio (KLB) during the construction of their projects, therefore they were obliged to build the apartments located on Jl. Daan Mogot.
“The construction [of Daan Mogot low-cost apartments] is ongoing. They have started with the soil compaction process, while the building permits are still being processed,” Arifin said as quoted by wartakotalive.com.

The new towers would be located near the Pesakih low-cost apartments across the Jakarta Grand Mosque.
The administration also plans to build a reservoir near the new towers. (wnd)
