View all search resultshe space underneath Pelabuhan toll road in Warakas subdistrict in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, has turned into a “pool” of trash as the location was inaccessible for sanitary workers.
Deputy head of Warakas RT 011/08 neighborhood unit Asmadi said sanitary workers rarely cleaned the area.
“The trash has accumulated since the toll road was constructed in 1993,” he said as quoted by kompas.com on Tuesday.
Asmadi said the trash pileup was not caused by local residents, adding that residents in Warakas have been forbidden from disposing of their domestic waste there. (vla)
