he fourth Indonesia Outdoor Festival (Indofest) is set to run from May 3-6 at Exhibition Hall B in the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in Central Jakarta.
Themed “Embrace the Journey”, the event is aiming for 60,000 visitors and will be bigger than previous years.
With an entrance fee of Rp 30,000 (US$2.16), visitors will have access to 100 local brands, 20 outdoor activity communities, 12 national parks across Indonesia, trip organizers, hotels and resorts as well as NGOs, such as the WWF and Borneo Orangutan.

Furthermore, kompas.com reports that the three-day event will also present talk shows, a coaching clinic, quiz and performances by local musicians such as Fiersa Besari, Robby Navicula, Endah N Resha and more.
Disyon Toba, CEO of Consina Outdoor Services, the organizer of the event, said that in the past years Indofest had welcomed outdoor enthusiasts from various activities, such as mountain climbing, rafting, fishing, wall climbing and caving. Realizing this, Indofest 2018 is set to offer more outdoor equipment with up to 70 percent discounts. (jes/kes)
