LG hosts Life’s Good Day campaign in Indonesia to strengthen company message to employees

LG hosts Life’s Good Day campaign in Indonesia to strengthen company message to employees

T LG Electronics Indonesia (LG) has launched a campaign titled LG Life’s Good Day to promote its company message to its employees in order to inspire them.

"With our employees holding a position that is equally as important as our consumers, it is crucial for us to ensure that our employees who have built the LG brand can truly feel and experience the new direction of the company, with the primary goal of making life better for everyone." said president of LG Electronics Indonesia for Sales and Marketing, Lee Taejin.

He shared that this employee campaign was also meant as a tribute to all of its employees who had been part of LG's 33 years of operation in Indonesia.

The LG Life’s Good Day campaign for employees was held as a family gathering, inviting LG employees and their families on a special outing. Various activities were organized as a means of conveying inspirational messages in line with the company's new direction, as well as an effort to improve communication between management and employees.

"This tight bond is a significant asset that allows us to distribute and foster a consistent spirit for the sustainable development of LG. Making it possible for us to solidify its position as a leading provider of electronic devices that truly understands the modern lifestyle needs of the community.” Tangerang Factory president of LG Electronics Indonesia, Jung Jaehoon stated.

Moreover, he noted that this campaign was attributed to the to the growing size of the LG organization in Indonesia. Currently LG Indonesia has more than 3,000 employees spread across various operational centers in Indonesia.

Additionally, LG's operational centers are also responsible for the sales and marketing activities of various LG products. Aside from its headquarters in Jakarta, LG has 21 branch offices across multiple regions in Indonesia. For user support services, LG has established after-sales service centers, which are responsible for ensuring quick and responsive customer service for LG users. In total, LG has 193 after-sales service centers scattered in various areas across the country.

Regarding product supply, LG has two production centers that are capable of meeting domestic needs, but are also exporting to countries in Asia, Europe, Australia and the United States.

"Since the beginning of LG's operations in Indonesia, we have been investing locally and continuing to develop in line with the company's growth as part of our vision." said Jung Jaehoon.

It is also worth noting that as of the last decade, the export accumulation from LG’s Indonesian production facilities have reached 80 percent.

"This is our commitment to align with the development of the company and our contribution to the economic improvement of Indonesia." Jung Jaehoon added.

The LG factory located in Cibitung, Bekasi, serves as the production base for LG’s TV, monitor and digital signage products. Meanwhile, the LG factory in Legok, Tangerang, is responsible for producing refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners.

"Not only are we expanding the range of products produced, but we are also accompanying it with efforts to increase the domestic content level. This is our commitment to maintaining support toward the Indonesian government's policies, including TKDN [local component requirement]." said Cibitung Factory president of LG Electronics Indonesia, Park Kunjik.

In the middle of this year, LG also inaugurated the operation of its research and development center (R&D) in Indonesia. Its construction serves as a dedicated place for testing the various latest innovations from LG, meant as part of the development of TV products for the global market.

"Our organization is one that grows with specialization, but it is becoming more complete regarding its functions to support the needs of the domestic and global markets. This development is an expression of our appreciation for the trust of the Indonesian people in LG across generations." said Park Kunjik.

He also mentioned that this growth represents LG’s commitment to continually develop as an intrinsic part of everyday solutions for the Indonesian society.

LG Life’s Good Day campaign, takes its name from LG's own brand slogan, spreading a message that showcases how LG enables its customers to enjoy a quality life and cherish precious moments through LG's products, services and communication. LG’s mission strives for a similar goal, aiming to innovate for a better life that contributes to shaping a brighter future for the planet.

"Through the values ​​brought by this campaign, we hope not only to inspire our employees to be more optimistic, but to have them be able to spread the positive influence of this optimism to more people through fostering mutual support." said president of LG Electronics Indonesia Research and Development Center, Lee Soyeoun, addressing the increasing uncertainty and instability in various parts of the world as a result of post-pandemic conditions.

Furthermore, he added that LG was also committed to continuing the expansion of the spirit of Life’s Good through various environment, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. Under the umbrella of LG Loves Indonesia, activities are being organized to have a positive impact on the environment, social communities and improved governance.

This includes LG Loves and Cares, which focuses more on supporting community welfare, LG Loves School for various educational care activities and LG Loves Children, which focuses on child welfare. While for their sustainable environmental creation efforts, LG concentrates all its efforts through their LG Loves Green initiative.

In the same activities, LG also disseminates LG's core values, namely an uncompromising customer experience, human-centered innovation, and warmth to promote smiles. By instilling these values in its employees, LG aims to strengthen the coordination within its organization to become an iconic brand loved across generations that carries a dynamic and youthful corporate energy.

"It is our hope that the LG Life’s Good Day campaign will be a great opportunity for our employees to get closer to LG as a brand and more integrated in aligning their movements with the company's aspirations." said president of LG Electronics Service Indonesia, Son Changdae.

"At the same time, we invite everyone to be an optimist who dares to face and overcome challenges to provide a better life for our consumers," concluded Lee Taejin.
