SAP Southeast Asia president and managing director Verena Siow spoke to The Jakarta Post on July 19, saying that the key to sustainability was to embed it into a company's business processes.
ndonesia aspires to achieve its targets for all 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) by 2030, and is banking on the collective action of actors across all sectors to do so. Goal No. 17, “partnerships for the goals”, emphasizes the importance of solidarity through inclusive partnerships, including public-private partnerships.
However, 2022 reports from the UN’s Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific show that progress on that end has been slow and that most indicators require faster progress.

In Southeast Asia, we support over 7,000 customers, and that includes 95 of the top 100 ASEAN companies, 88 percent of the ASEAN companies in the Forbes Global 2000 and 70 percent of the top 10 ASEAN start-up unicorns.
