Bank Neo Commerce looks to new products in search of profit

ank Neo Commerce is targeting its first profit this year through an expansion of its business and the launch of several new products, including wealth management and loan services.
The digital bank’s president director, Tjandra Gunawan, said he could not disclose the specific figure yet but that the bank was looking to achieve a “single-digit profit”.
BNC's strategy is aimed at increasing fee-based income.
One of the new offerings is a wealth management service that would allow BNC users to invest in mutual funds directly through the bank’s app.
“We will launch this wealth management product, hopefully in the next two to three months,” said Tjandra on Wednesday.
