n a bold manifestation of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its mission to push for “Indonesia Sehat” (Healthy Indonesia), PT Sasa Inti announced the donation of two brand new ambulances to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). This initiative underscores the company’s dedication to making a meaningful impact on the health and   well-being of communities across the country.

The ambulances were donated as part of Sasa CSR program, which aims to achieve positive societal outcomes. In terms of health care, free ambulance services are an absolute necessity in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated urban areas such as Jakarta. Despite the country’s rapid growth in many areas, access to emergency medical services remains limited.

.

The donation of these two ambulances to PMI represents a significant step toward closing the emergency medical service gap and providing timely access to critical care for those in need. By partnering with PMI, Sasa aims to amplify the impact of its CSR initiatives and contribute to building a healthier and more resilient nation.

"We recognize the urgent need for more ambulances, and Sasa is determined to contribute to the solution. Through our collaboration with PMI, we hope that the ambulances we donate will be effective tools in saving lives, particularly in critical situations”, said Sasa CEO and President Director Rudolf Tjandra.
