ndonesian property firm PT MNC Land announced the launch on Friday of Trump International Golf Club Lido, a Trump Golf-operated 7,200-yard golf course.
The golf course is located at the 3,000-hectare Lido integrated resort about 60 kilometers south of Jakarta.
“Collaborating with Trump Golf has allowed us to set a new standard for luxury and exclusivity in Indonesia,” MNC Group executive chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo said in a statement issued by the company.
“l am thrilled to celebrate this milestone and look forward to an exciting future for Trump International Golf Club Lido.”

The launch of the golf course took place a little over a month after the environment ministry on Feb. 6 ordered PT MNC Land to halt development of the tourism project over water management and environmental issues.
The Environment Ministry expects MNC Land to submit a new environmental assessment if it wants to continue developing Lido, ministry spokesperson Sasmita Nugroho said on Feb. 6, as reported by Reuters.
