he Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) revealed on Monday that funding from the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) program has so far supported 220,251 housing units, covering nearly 63 percent of this year’s goal.
The agency remains upbeat about hitting its ambitious target of delivering 350,000 subsidized homes for low-income families (MBR) by year-end, reinforcing its commitment to expanding affordable housing access nationwide.
BP Tapera commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said the progress reflected strong coordination among the government, banks, developers and local administrations.
“We are optimistic that with the collective efforts of all stakeholders, including the banking sector, developers, associations and local governments, the target is not only realistic but achievable,” Heru said in a statement.
According to the agency’s latest data, construction is underway for 7,512 housing units, while 19,143 homes have been completed and are ready for sale but have yet to be contracted. Another 16,653 units are at the pre-approval stage, and 2,610 units have reached the loan agreement stage, with total disbursements amounting to Rp 27.3 trillion (US$1.6 billion).
“In total, there are 45,918 housing units currently in progress, and there is still a queue in the database that needs to be promptly followed up by the banks,” Heru added.
The program is distributed through 39 partner banks in collaboration with 22 housing associations and 7,684 developers, spanning 12,224 housing projects across 33 provinces and 398 cities and regencies throughout Indonesia.
