The Indonesian Fintech Association (Aftech) is holding the Mandiri BFN Fest 2025 to increase trust among the public, investors and all stakeholders in digital financial services to foster more innovation, healthy growth and sustainable economic benefits through the financial technology sector.
The two-day event, which opened on Dec. 10 at The Kasablanka Hall in Tebet, South Jakarta, is the peak digital economy during National Fintech Month (BFN).
Themed “From Clicks to Crops, From Code to Concrete: Realizing Inclusive Growth through Trusted Digital Finance Innovation”, Aftech chairman Pandu Sjahrir said in a press release that the event marked an important moment in pushing for sustainable fintech growth.
“The event is not just a discussion forum but a national collaboration space that unites all parties in one vision, which is to have digital benefits that are official and trusted by the public and the real economy,” Pandu stated.
“We have talked for a month about the future of Indonesian fintech, and Mandiri BFN Fest is the main stage. Here, the public can see, try and feel directly how digital innovation works for them,” he said.
The festival will feature over 100 speakers consisting of fintech and digital finance experts, representatives from regulators, multilateral institutions and tech companies, as well as both domestic and international investors. Through a series of discussions, they will address strategic topics on the future of the fintech industry related to increasing investment, accelerating innovation, increasing trust and consumer protection, building inclusive digital infrastructure and strengthening cross-stakeholder cooperation.
The main panel discussions focus on the “Fintech Frontier”, “Cross-border Quick Response and Interoperability” and “Artificial Intelligence Governance and Responsible Innovation”, according to Aftech’s press release.
Investment topics cover start-ups, digital lending and credit scoring, insurance technology (insurtech), fraud prevention, cybersecurity, digital talent and gender in the fintech industry.
Aside from discussions, visitors can also explore 45 booths featuring fintech and digital finance services companies offering a variety of digital services covering everything from banking, payments, financing and investments to electronic signatures and identities, cloud services and AI-based fintech innovations.
“We want all participants and visitors to gain a better understanding of how fintech works and how digital services and be used more safely,” Pandu said.
He described the event “as a large celebration, the peak of all series of programs that have been running for the past month, from National Fintech Day on Nov. 11 to National Online Shopping Day [Harbolnas] on Dec. 12”.
Mandiri BFN Fest 2025 is a free, public event involving micro, small and medium enterprises and large companies that aims to promote an inclusive space for everyone interested in fintech and digital financing.
