T Tamaris Hidro, the publicly listed renewable energy subsidiary of local conglomerate Salim Group, has posted a 52.12 percent year-on-year (yoy) surge in net profit, fueled by the company’s aggressive acquisition strategy.

According to the firm’s financial report, Tamaris Hidro recorded a net profit of Rp 31.84 billion (US$1.9 million) in 2025, a significant leap from Rp 20.93 billion in 2024.

The profit jump was driven by a 28.2 percent increase in net operating revenue, which reached Rp 576.07 billion, up from Rp 449.34 billion in the previous year.

Revenue came from several segments, with income recognized from the construction, operation and maintenance of power plant concessions, accounting for the largest share. Revenue from direct electricity sales generated Rp 49.24 billion, while rental services contributed the remaining Rp 2.57 billion.

While revenue and profit climbed, the company also faced high operational costs. The cost of revenue stood at Rp 223.89 billion, while general and administrative expenses reached Rp 77.78 billion. Financial expenses remained high at Rp 219.18 billion.
