Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo visited the Central Java cities of Salatiga, Kendal and Sukoharjo on Tuesday as part of his campaign tour of the province.

After arriving at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Boyolali regency, Central Java, Ganjar proceeded to the Sidomukti Indonesian Civil Servants Corps (Korpri) building to meet with members of his campaign team and volunteers.

At the meeting, Ganjar also engaged with legislative candidates from the coalition of parties supporting him, including members of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), United Development Party (PPP), Perindo Party and People's Conscience Party (Hanura).

Afterwards, he visited the Manbaul Hikmah pesantren (Islamic boarding school) in the province’s Kendal regency, where he met with the pesantren's headmaster, KH Suyuthi Murtadio.

Ganjar then held a conversation with fishermen and attended an event listed as a pesta rakyat (people’s festival) in Weleri district.

He also met with Danil Rouyan, chairman of the Kendal branch of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the country’s largest Muslim organization.

From Kendal, Ganjar moved to Sukoharjo regency to attend another pesta rakyat. As usual, Ganjar chose to stay at a resident's house during his visit.
