In less than a week, the Indonesian Consulate General (KJRI) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia repatriated another wave of Indonesians, adding the total number of returnees in 2025 to 4,264, as of Monday.
The KJRI repatriated 166 Indonesians from a Malaysian immigration detention depot (DTI).
The previous repatriation was held on Sept. 4 when 50 Indonesians were brought home.
Monday’s wave was returned in two batches using ferries from Pasir Gudang International Ferry Terminal in Johor heading to the Batam Center International Ferry Terminal in Batam, Riau Islands.
