search operation continued on Thursday for British national Harrison Edward Nada Kantounas, who went missing while swimming at a Bali beach.

The 23-year-old disappeared on Wednesday afternoon, allegedly drowning while swimming at Legian beach in Badung regency.

"Today, we continue the search following Wednesday evening efforts which failed to find him," head of Denpasar Search and Rescue Office, I Nyoman Sidakarya, said.

Sidakarya said that the Denpasar SAR Office received the report on Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. from the beach lifeguard.

Following the report, a SAR operation immediately commenced on Wednesday evening by combing the shoreline, as it was not possible to deploy SAR equipment for water-based operations at night.
