Hollywood actress Brianna Hildebrand has graced the Indonesia Comic Con (ICC), which opened on Saturday.

ollywood actress Brianna Hildebrand has graced the Indonesia Comic Con (ICC), which opened on Saturday. Known for her role as Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Marvel's blockbuster Deadpool, Hildebrand greeted fans during the two-day pop culture festival.

Hundreds of paying visitors queued to enter Hall A and B at the Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan, Central Jakarta, as Comic Con organizer Reed Panorama Exhibitions boasted that this year’s event was larger in size and more packed with excitement.

More than 170 exhibitors from Canada, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the US, and Indonesia as the host country took part in the event.

Besides Hildebrand, Japanese actors Hiroshi Fujioka (Kamen Rider) and Hiroshi Watari (Uchuu Keiji Shariva) also greeted their Jakarta fans at the exhibition.

Visitors got the opportunity  to watch exclusive products from XM Studios and the Batcave diorama presented by Red Diorama.

Tokidoki released exclusive products as part of its partnership with the Indonesia Comic Con while Sanrio brought along limited collections of its new popular character, the lazy egg Gudetama.

World renowned cosplayers, toymakers such as Lego and Flabslab, animators with Goshen Media and Lumine Studio and Walt Disney Indonesia held events, which were full of excitement for the whole family during the weekend.

Reed Panorama Exhibitions/ReedPOP general manager James Boey said that this year’s exhibition was an upgrade from previous events.

"This year, the ICC has developed new areas namely Comic Zone, Movie Zone, Star Wars Zone, Family Zone and Gaming Zone. We expect the event to be an unforgettable experience for pop-culture lovers," he said on Saturday. (ebf)
