Ennichisai 2018 to return to Blok M, Jakarta this weekend

he annual Japanese culture event Ennichisai 2018 will return to Blok M, South Jakarta, by bringing local and Japanese performers from June 30 to July 1.
Part of the Japan-Indonesia 60th Anniversary series of events, Ennichisai will feature an additional mini stage dubbed Chika Stage, located at the underground area of Atrium Blok M Mall, which will feature performances from Arakawa OK Rock, Visual Dream Band, Skyfall and Nanairo Symphony, among others.
Cosplayers or other visitors who will need to store their belongings are advised to head to Chika Stage's deposit counter, with fees starting from Rp 10,000 (less than 70 US cents) per bag. Those who use the deposit counter will be allowed to access the provided changing room as well.

Aside from Chika Stage, the festival will also have Traditional (Main) Stage and Pop Culture (CLAS:H) Stage. The former usually displays culture-related performances, while the latter will feature shows about cosplay, DJ performances, music and product promotions.
Japanese rock band Loka, who previously visited Jakarta in 2013, is set to entertain their fans once again at the event.
Thirty lucky fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the band with ticket prices starting from Rp 200,000. Those who are interested can register their information via the band’s official Facebook page or by sending an email to band.loka@gmail.com.
Other artists scheduled to perform at the festival are girl band JKT48, idol group Addiction, dancer Melochin, idol group CoLoN: and DJ Misaki. (wir/kes)
