Google is celebrating National Children’s Day, which falls on July 23 in Indonesia, with a music-themed Google Doodle.

The image on the search engine, standing in for the usual logo, features a cartoon image of a children’s band playing various musical instruments. Each character and instrument are presented in one of Google's signature colors, namely blue, red, yellow and green.

Google is known for commemorating major national holidays and events, as well as the birthdays of important figures by featuring a Doodle image that links to a search of the related topic. 

Indonesia is set to celebrate National Children's Day with an event at the Purwodadi Botanical Gardens in East Java, where President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Minister Yohana Yembise are slated to attend, according to Antara news agency. (liz/asw)
