inger Afgan is set to share the stage with world-class acts from MTV Spotlight as part of Hyperplay, Southeast Asia’s first esports and music festival event, kompas.com reports. 

Held on August 4 and 5 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the event's headliners include American singer Nick Jonas, South Korean rapper CL, Grammy award winner Alessia Cara, indie pop band The Sam Willows and Thailand rock band Slot Machine.

Hyperplay is held in conjunction with the 2018 ASEAN Singapore celebration and will showcase the first ever League of Legends tournament. Afgan is scheduled to perform on the event’s last day.

Known for his ballads and R&B hits such as "Bukan Cinta Biasa" (No Ordinary Love) and "Terima Kasih Cinta" (Thank You, Love), Afgan expressed his enthusiasm through an Instagram post.

“Thank you @mtvasia for this massive opportunity! Couldn’t be more appreciative & grateful. And to all my Singaporean fans, mark your calendar & make sure you get them tickets. I will see you very soon,” he said. (anm/wng)
