‘Wiro Sableng’ screened at Macau film festival

Organized by the Macau Government Tourism Office and the Macau Film & Television Productions and Culture Association, the first edition of the festival was held in December 2017.

Prior to the screening, Lifelike Pictures producer Sheila “Lala” Timothy; actor Vino G. Bastian, who plays the main character Wiro Sableng; and child actor Abirama Putra Andresta, who plays the young Wiro, previously known as Wira Saksana, appeared on stage.

Lala, as shown in Instagram Live Stories, shared a bit about the filming process to the audience, saying that 212 Warrior involved around 1,000 cast and crew members.

Vino mentioned he had to do silat training for around six months. “It was hard for me,” he said.

At the end of the presentation, Lala shared that she had a lot projects coming up, including some series and theatrical releases. (jes/kes)
