ifty-seven-year-old musician Dian Pramana Poetra has reportedly been diagnosed with stage four leukemia, a cancer of the blood cells.

According to kompas.com, Dian's wife and other family members were shocked when doctors broke the news to them.

"[His family was] shocked [when they heard the news] that it was stage five [cancer]," fellow musician Deddy Dhukun told kompas.com by phone on Thursday.

However, Deddy said, the doctors were still conducting more tests and examinations. "[The diagnose] is a temporary one. Hopefully, there's no cancer."

Dian is currently being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Hermina Jatinegara Hospital in East Jakarta. (kes)
