David Ananda, managing director of Fullcolor Entertainment, said the band could inspire young Indonesian who are trying to make their way into the music industry.

“The band’s struggle can boost the younger generations’ spirits,” David said in an official statement.

Formed in 2011, Lukas Graham consists of Lukas Graham on vocals, Mark Falgren on drums, Magnus Larsson on bass and Kasper Daugaard on keyboard. The band is known for singles “7 Years”, “Mama Said” and “Love Someone”.

The hit “7 Years” was inspired by Graham’s father who passed away at the age of 61. The track earned 2017 Grammy Awards nominations for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. (wir/mut)
