Today's headliners include Troye Sivan, Dean & Rad Museum and Alvvays.
The annual three-day music festival We The Fest 2019 returns from Friday until Sunday to the JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
On Friday, international and local acts are to entertain festival goers on four different stages starting at 5 p.m.
Today's events are to be opened by local act Fourtwnty at 5 p.m. on the main We The Fest Stage.
Afterwards the stage is to host local legend Dewa 19 featuring Ari Lasso and Dul Jaelani, rising South Korean stars Dean & Rad Museum and American acts Capital Cities and Bazzi. It is to be closed by the Australian singer/songwriter Troye Sivan.
Meanwhile, on This Stage is Bananas, visitors are to be entertained by local indie band Glaskaca at 5 p.m., continued by indie legends SORE and The Adams, followed by Canadian indie darling Alvvays, American acts CADE and Jai Wolf and closed by San Holo.

Another Stage is to star local acts such as The Cat Police, Puti Chitara, Gerald Situmorang, Sri Hanuraga, Sal Priad, Duara, Kios Ojo Keos and Stan x w. W FT Dave Slick. Meanwhile the Park Stage will feature three singers, namely Amboro, Asteriska, and Tuan Tigabelas.
The gates are to open at 3 p.m. and visitors are urged to arrive early to exchange their e-vouchers and avoid longer queues later in the day.
We The Fest's official Instagram account has listed items that are prohibited from being taken into the venue, such as illegal drugs, liquids of any form (except perfume, makeup, eye drops and hand sanitizers) and unsealed cigarette packs, to ensure a smooth entry. (gis/kes)
