or those who want to broaden their knowledge and pick up new skills in photography, Nikon Indonesia will open its second free online photography course throughout the month of May.
The Nikon Online Learning Program was first introduced in April, offering 17 classes taught by photographers from Nikon Indonesia Official Photographers, Nikon Icons and Nikon Squads. Fashion designer Didiet Maulana, for example, hosted a cultural photography class, while music photographer Nareend hosted a stage photography course.
Like the April classes, courses in May will be open to anyone and will be offered through the Zoom video call app. Links will be shared on Nikon Indonesia’s Instagram Stories on the day of the class.

In May, participants can look forward to learning about, among other subjects, cityscape photography with Mukti Ariawan, being a celebrity photographer with Willy Mulyadi, journalistic photography during the COVID-19 pandemic with Adek Berry, travel videography with Agung Afif, creative shooting while staying at home with Dewi Probyn and food photography for online businesses with Davd Liusman.

In the United States, Nikon offered free online photography courses in April in the form of 15 to 60-minute videos. Among the classes were videos for beginners who just started using their DSLRs and instructive videos for specialists such as music video creators and environmental photographers. (wng)
