drive-in music concert is set to be held in the west parking area of JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta for two days on Aug. 29 and 30 at 8:30 p.m.

The so-called New Live Experience will feature legendary pop band Kahitna, which just celebrated its 34th anniversary in June.

With the threat of COVID-19 transmission still high, concertgoers will be required to follow strict health protocols, such as watching from inside their cars and listening using FM radios, wearing face masks and face shields, bringing their own hand sanitizer and using cashless payment. 

Previously, the organizer's project and creative director Dino Hamid boasted about how the concert would feature a spectacular stage and lighting system

Beating Jakarta, Central Java’s provincial capital Semarang will host its first drive-in concert on Wednesday. Taking place in the parking area of the Recreation and Development Promotion Center (PRPP) at 7 p.m., the Mahkota Charity Concert Drive-in will reportedly feature pop bands Jikustik and Soulgroove and singer Yuda Leo Betty.
