GoPay now a payment option on Spotify Premium
Users of GoPay can now use the e-wallet to pay for music on streaming platform Spotify.

sers of GoPay, a service of technology decacorn Gojek, can now use the e-wallet to pay for services of music streaming platform Spotify.
Users can choose GoPay to pay for their subscription plans, Spotify Premium Family and Spotify Premium Duo, which are featured on the streaming platform’s website. Fees for Spotify Premium Duo start from Rp 64,990 (US$4.42) per month. The fees will be automatically deducted from the user’s balance on the payment date.
The streaming platform is also offering one-time payment packages for one day, one week, one month, three months and one year.
Premium users of Spotify can enjoy their favorite songs and podcasts ad-free and offline.
GoPay senior vice president product marketing Timothius Martin said the integration had been long awaited by users who wished to join the Spotify Premium service. “Now they can subscribe and pay for Spotify Premium [service] without credit cards. This allows them to immerse themselves in various podcasts and millions of songs,” Timothius said in a statement.
Aside from Spotify, GoPay is also one of the payment options Google Play Store apps, such as Viu, Iflix and HBO Go, as well as YouTube Premium. (wir/wng)
