DIAN NITAMI: (JP/A. Junaidi)JAKARTA: Actress Dian Nitami said she was a bit confused when her five-year-old daughter, Sasikirana Zahrani Asmara, asked where her younger brother came from.

"We can no longer make up something illogical (to tell her). At first I was confused," said the 37-year-old actress during a talk show on "Creative Early Learning for Child Development".

"I then told Sasi that her brother came from my stomach. I said 'Ayah (dad) asked ibu (mom) to keep (the baby) in her stomach because dad's stomach wasn't big enough'. Fortunately, Sasi did not ask how her dad put the baby in my stomach," she smiled.

Dian, who is married to actor Anjasmara, has starred in four films and dozens of sinetron (television soap operas). She has two biological children and two adopted children.

The talk show, which was held at Rasuna Epicentrum complex in Kuningan area, South Jakarta, was aimed at introducing the Gold's Gym Elite Rasuna Sports and Wellness Club (formerly known as Klub Taman Rasuna). -- A. Junaidi
