Saipul Jamil ready to tie the knot again

Antara/Juli Koz

TANGERANG: Dangdut singer Saipul Jamil has found new love and is ready for another holy matrimony.

Saipul, known as Ipul, said that he was ready to lose his single status. The former husband of dangdut singer Dewi Persik is now in a relationship with Dewi Amanda.

Saipul said that Dewi Amanda  was not in the entertainment business. She has studied in Japan and holds a Master’s degree.

The former member of G4UL band had plans to marry in September this year, but said that he would postpone the date to January 2011.

“It won’t be in September [2010]. It has been postponed to January [2011]. My dream wedding date is on the 11th of the first month of 2011, God willing,” Ipul said Thursday night as quoted by detikhot.com.

Ipul said that he wanted to be in a healthy relationship. “I don’t want to get a divorce again,” he said.

Ipul said that he had introduced his bride to be to his former wife. “I have introduced Mami [his nickname for Dewi Persik] about my new partner.

“She was surprised that they shared the same [first] name,” he said. — JP
