Tina Talisa leaving TV One behind

JAKARTA: News anchor and presenter Tina Talisa has quietly left TV One for a bigger and better job at Indosiar.

As of Dec. 1, Tina officially joined Indosiar, assuming the role of talent and show manager.

“My new position requires me to work both in front of and behind the camera,” said Tina, who graduated from dentistry school at Padjajaran University in Bandung, as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

She added that she would be heavily involved in the preparations for a news section. Tina dismissed the rumor that she, together with her ex-boss from TV One, left the station together following a disagreement with the station’s management. She insisted that she left TV One on a good note.

“I informed TV One’s management about my plan to assume a new position at Indosiar beforehand. The decision was purely based on my intention to progress in my career,” said the 31-year-old.
