strong>Your comments on the death of two people and the injuries of several others when some 50 thugs brutally attacked mourners at a funeral home of an army hospital in Jakarta:
The 50 thugs brutally attacking mourners at a funeral home of an army hospital shows a total disrespect towards our army.
The army, as we all know, is the bastion of our country. It has stood up while others were fast asleep whenever our country was considered in danger; whether that danger was floods, earthquakes or wars.
We all must realize that anyone who signs up for the military is ready to defend the country whenever and wherever it is necessary.
In spite of those expected sacrifices, the military are to remain caring toward the communities for whom they dedicate their lives. The public must be made to understand this mutual respect.
Otherwise, unnecessary bickering will only waste time and the opportunity for a harmonious community between civilians and military.
We all have an obligation to constantly promote good and mutual understanding between civilians and the military to a harmonious life together (as we first established during the revolution as guerrilla fighters were fed by farmers in the villages to survive).

The military has lost its dignity and thugs have no respect for the military anymore. I need chapters to explain why.
But in short, as long as the military and police hesitate to enforce the law, thug brutality will never end.
Maybe the policy of PETRUS (mysterious sniping) has to be taken by the government to overcome this: Of course with all the advantages and disadvantages.
