idho Hafiedz, the guitarist for band Slank, and the head of promotions for Loud Productions, said he came across a lot of “ghost fees” organizing shows in Indonesia.

“Just when you thought you figured out the fixed cost for the sound system, space, lighting, there are times when you realize you missed this and that,” he said with a worn out and anxious expression on Tuesday.

Loud Productions recently organized a concert for Swedish band The Cardigans. It was their first event involving an international artist.

Ridho said that organizing shows had given him new experiences, in which he became the one “serving” people instead of the other way around.
