Rianti Cartwright: Still in the honeymoon mood

(Kapanlagi.com)Actress and TV personality Rianti Rhiannon Cartwright returns to the silver screen this April in the drama comedy film Finding Srimulat with the comedic legends the Srimulat troupe. Rianti and Reza Rahardian play a young couple struggling to stand on their own feet and meet Srimulat members Tessy, Mamiek, Gogon, Kadir and Djudjuk in the process. Rianti is famous for her leading role as Aisha in the romantic religious hit movie Ayat-Ayat Cinta (Verses of Love) in 2008.  In 2010, she married Cas Alfonso Nainggolan in a ceremony hidden from the media eye in the US.

“We are still enjoying our time together, just like two new lovebirds. I have been more selective with jobs, so I can have more time with him. I need to be careful because I’m also managing a spa and a cafe in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Any business needs to be taken care of and time dedicated to it by its owners and managers in order for it to succeed. Cas and I are doing our best to keep our weekends free, so we can spend it together.

We usually go out for dinner on Saturday evening and watch movies at home. Cas is the one responsible for buying DVDs, but we disagree on what movies to buy and watch.

Sometimes, we go to the cinemas if there are good movies on. I like comedy and romantic comedy, while he loves action and horror. So, we debate about what to watch, it’s a lot of fun.

Whenever I’m bored or tired of being in Jakarta, I escape out of town with my family. Going to Bandung is enough to relieve the stress of the metropolitan. My family has a house in Cihanjuang and I also have grandparents in Bandung.  I don’t have a particular favorite place in Bandung, but I like the areas with delicious food and Bandung has a lot of them.

Cas and I also go to Medan to visit his family as an alternative to Bandung.”
