AKARTA: Actress Ariel Tatum is so excited about her first months as a psychology student at Atma Jaya University in Jakarta that she actually rearranged her busy acting schedule to attend classes.
'I'm really into the first semester classes. I've always been interested in psychology. I don't want to miss a lot of things from the classes, so I'm cutting down on my other activities,' Ariel said as quoted by tempo.co.
The 18-year-old said that psychology was a branch of science that would always be relevant. 'As long as there are humans, psychology will be of use. Humans are very complicated beings but also so interesting,' she said.
Ariel started her career as a child actor when she was 10, starring in a family adventure movie Ariel dan Raja Langit (Ariel and the King of the Sky) in 2005. A year later she also made her debut in an Indonesian soap opera with Abadi untuk Selamanya (Forever Eternal).
