Apart from acting, actress Shandy Aulia is also busy developing her own fashion line, christened the Shandy Aulia Collection.

'€œI started the business in 2006 with only two tailors working for me,'€ she said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

She opened her first store in Kemang, South Jakarta, but the business did not thrive, with Shandy'€™s focus split between the venture and her shooting schedules.

The 28-year-old, who starred in horror film 308, said she had been trying to revive the business over the past five years, with support from her businessman husband David Herbowo.

The business is now run from a three-storey building in Bintaro, South Tangerang, employing 50 people. In addition, the actress and designer also sells her creations through Instagram accounts.

'€œI'€™ve seen growth every year. I don'€™t only associate growth with money, but also with the increase in the number of our customers.'€
