inger/actress Paramitha Rusady will return to the big screen after a long hiatus, this time in an environmentalism-themed film she produced with her activist sister, musician Ully Sigar.

“This film will explore global warming, seeing as Indonesia is one of the three lungs of the Earth,” she said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

In the film, titled My Journey: Mencari Mata Air (My Journey: Searching for a Spring), Paramitha will play the character of Maya — a scientist researching dragonflies.

The shooting location, she said, was in a remote area that was difficult to reach.

“Going to the set was the actual expedition itself,” she said.

“The main purpose of the film is to provide the public with knowledge about the environment, and about how to treat and conserve nature.”
