"I don't know anything about it. But I'm a very good user of IT services," he said at an Indonesian Chief Information Officer (iCIO) community event on Thursday.
The minister, former president director of state railway operator PT KAI, revealed that he was the first to apply an IT system in the company.
"It served 400 million passengers a year," he said.
He also shot down claims that he opposed the use of mobile transportation apps, Grab and Uber, stating his support for the use of technology in the sector.
The ministry previously requested the Communications and Information Ministry to ban Uber and Grab.
However, it then spared both companies, setting a May 31 deadline to fulfill legal permits for its partners. (dmr)
