KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah confirmed that Setya had turned up at the KPK on Tuesday morning. He was questioned for the second time as a witness for suspect Sugiharto, a former Home Ministry official tasked with handling the tender call for the Rp 6 trillion (US$451 million) e-KTP project.
"He came [to the KPK headquarters for questioning] at about 9.30 a.m.," Febri said.

KPK investigators previously questioned Setya, who served as treasurer of the Golkar Party and the chairman of the party's faction at the House when the e-KTP project kicked off in 2010, on Dec. 13, as it had gotten an indication of Setya's alleged "involvement" in the project, which was introduced when the Home Ministry was led by Gamawan Fauzi.
Setya was initially scheduled for a second questioning on Jan. 4, but he failed to turn up because he was in the United States at that time.
Apart from Sugiharto, the KPK has named the Home Ministry's former director for population administrative information, Irman, a suspect in the case. (dmr)
