ublicly listed hospital operator Siloam International Hospitals (SILO), a subsidiary of Lippo Karawaci, announced on Wednesday that shareholders had approved the appointment of Ketut Budi Wijaya as the firm’s new president director.
Ketut took over the responsibility of former president director Romeo Lledo who has now become the company’s deputy commissioner.
“Ketut Budi Wijaya has held a number of senior positions within Lippo Group since 1987 and has served as Lippo Karawaci president director since May 2010,” according to a press release distributed on Wednesday.

SILO booked strong growth in revenue and net profit last year. The firm’s revenue grew by 25 percent to Rp 5.17 trillion last year, while its net profit rose by 22 percent to Rp 86 billion in 2016.
The company opened three new hospitals last year, in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara; Buton, Southeast Sulawesi; and Samarinda, East Kalimantan. At present, SILO has 23 active hospitals. (bbn)
