uis Milla, the coach of the Indonesian men’s soccer team, says ending its match against Vietnam in a draw shows progress, providing a morale booster to the red-and-white squad.

Milla praised his under-22 players for securing their net from any scoring attempt by the Vietnamese.

Commenting on the red card issued to Hanif Syahbandi, Milla backed the player, saying that Hanif was just being too emotional.

“He is still young and too emotional. I will advise him to be calmer next time,” he said quoted by Antara on Wednesday.

Milla said the draw was a “moral victory” for the team, and it was a good stepping stone for the players to achieve better results during the competition.

In Group B, Indonesia is ranked third, after leader Vietnam and Thailand in second place.
