he Jakarta Police narcotics unit arrested dangdut singer Roro Fitria on Wednesday morning for alleged possession of crystal methamphetamine.

Suwondo Nainggolan, the Jakarta Police narcotics unit director, said on Thursday that Roro was arrested in her house in Ragunan, South Jakarta.

The police confiscated 2.4 grams of meth and a bank transfer receipt allegedly for the drug purchase during the raid, Suwondo said on Thursday, kompas.com reported.

Also on Wednesday, the South Jakarta Police arrested actor Fachri Albar for alleged possession of marijuana, meth and Dumolid, an anti-depressant.

Fachri, the son of rock singer Ahmad Albar, was arrested in his house in Cirendeu, South Jakarta. (cal)
