tate lender Bank Mandiri is aiming for transactions worth Rp 400 billion (US$28.7 million) during the 2018 Mandiri Property Expo, held in the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from May 5 to 13.
Around 18 developers are participating in the event, including publicly listed property firm Metropolitan Land (Metland), state firm PP Properti, Perdana Gapuraprima, state firm Waskita Karya and Adhi Karya, property group Ciputra Development and property developer Summarecon Agung, among others.
Bank Mandiri itself is offering mortgage (KPR) facilities with two-year fixed interest rates of 5.5 percent, followed by 6.55 percent in the next three years, with a quick administrative process.
“We keep on innovating to make it easier for people [to purchase a house] and it seems it is time to make applying for a KPR as easy as making a coffee. So to apply for a KPR, people can just hand over documents in their wallet such as a KTP [ID card] and NPWP [taxpayer number] to get the [documents] processed,” Bank Mandiri executive vice president for consumer loans Ignatius Susatyo Wijoyo said recently as quoted by kontan.co.id.
Bank Mandiri is working with Debindomulti Adhiswasti as well as housing developers association Real Estate Indonesia (REI) in the event.
