In reference to the caricature published in The Jakarta Post of Jan. 11, page 7, which contained the phrase “More heads are going to roll in Saudi Arabia”, the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Jakarta conveys its objection to the caricature, as it considers it defamation and the wrong imagery.

The legal system adhered to in Saudi Arabia is based on the Quran and the hadith (sayings) of the Prophet Muhammad, with conviction in the judiciary’s independence from the
executive branch, with no toleration of foreign intervention in the domestic affairs of Saudi Arabia, as asserted by His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
