he odd-even license plate policy will be waived during the Christmas and New Year holidays on Dec. 24 – 25 and Jan. 1, Jakarta Traffic Police have announced.
Traffic police law enforcement head Sr. Adj. Comr Fahri Siregar said, “For today on Dec. 24 and [tomorrow] Dec. 25, the odd-even policy will not be enforced”.
He added that the police have announced the policy through their social media channels.
He advised that motorists continue to prioritize safety when driving.
“We advised that motorists be careful on the road and obey officers and traffic signs,” Fahri said as quoted by kompas.com on Tuesday.
