tamp Fairtex may have come up short in her quest to dethrone ONE Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee earlier this year, but after her last performance against Jihin Radzuan at ONE Fight Night 2: Xiong vs. Lee III on Oct. 1, the Thai star looks ready for another shot at the divisional queen.

— ONE Championship (@ONEChampionship) October 1, 2022Stamp defeated Jihin by unanimous decision after a dominant display of striking and grappling, proving that she is continuing to come into her own as a well-rounded mixed martial artist.
Having said that, here are three instances from her latest victory over Jihin and those that preceded it that lead us to believe that Stamp is ready for another shot at atomweight gold.
Her last performance awed the audience
Stamp exhibited her all-around skill set to the global fanbase when she took on “Shadow Cat” at ONE Fight Night 2 this Saturday. The 24-year-old transitioned effortlessly between working Jihin on the ground and landing heavy blows on the feet.
Even in moments where her foe appeared to have the upperhand, Stamp was able to work her way out in a convincing fashion.
Her control of the Circle throughout the match showcased why she is at the top of the stacked division’s rankings, and it is difficult to see any of her fellow ranked fighters causing her problems after such a dominant display.
Her ever-improving ground game
Stamp has exhibited her growing grappling skills throughout her stint in mixed martial arts (MMA). And given that she recently earned her purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, it is fair to expect her to continue getting better.
Her matchup against Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship Final at ONE: WINTER WARRIORS perfectly exemplified her development on the canvas.
Stamp shocked the world when she secured an armbar submission to score the win against the multiple-time Wrestling World Champion in the second round.

Her spectacular striking
As impressive as her ground game is, it does not come close to being the athlete’s most dangerous weapon in her arsenal. After all, Stamp’s ruthless striking pushed her to win both the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Titles.
The Thai dynamo has utilized her heavy hands and lethal kicks to score big in MMA, and her 9-2 record in the all-encompassing sport is a testament to that.
Fans should expect her to continue going from strength to strength in the atomweight division thanks to her intelligent combinations and ability to find gaps in her opponents’ defenses.
Before she gets another crack at Lee, Stamp takes to the Circle again in a mixed rules super-fight against Anissa Meksen in January. But before that, you can catch all the action at ONE 162: Zhang vs. Di Bella on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
