The awards are dedicated to those who contribute significantly to the development and industry of sports in Indonesia.
ebreeetMedia, an online media focusing on sports, in collaboration with Santini Group is set to host the Santini JebreeetMedia Awards to support the sports industry in Indonesia.
The awards, scheduled to be held at JS Luwansa Hotel in Jakarta on July 19, are dedicated to those who contribute significantly to the development and industry of sports in Indonesia.
“I believe that each and every one that is involved in the industry of sports in Indonesia has to be able to show that they care [about the field they are in]. It is one of the ways to lift Indonesian sports to a higher level.
“I hope that the Santini JebreetMedia Awards will inspire the people in the sports community to work together to make our sports industry bigger and better,” JebreetMedia CEO Valentino Simanjuntak said in a statement.
The awarding nominations include favorite sport match on the digital platform, favorite sports channel on the digital platform, favorite television station for sports shows, favorite athlete and favorite coach.
Santini Group, which owns the United Kingdom-based Tranmere Rovers soccer club, shares the same vision with JebreeetMedia and is fully supporting the event to display its commitment to develop sports in the country.
As part of the event, the organizers will also host the Sang Juara Bicara talk show, prior to the award night.
The talk show will feature Indonesia’s legendary athletes Taufik Hidayat and Greysia Polii (badminton), Chris John (boxing), Ade Rai (bodybuilding) as well as prominent soccer coach Indra Sjafri. They will be sharing their professional experiences and insights on their achievements while representing Indonesia in global sports.
