ndonesia's Under-19 national team made an impressive start to its ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-19 Championship campaign, defeating Myanmar at the North Sumatra Main Stadium in Deli Serdang on Monday night.

Indonesia U-19 secured a convincing 3-0 victory, with goals from Arkhan Kaka in the 38th minute and Dimas Wicaksono, who struck twice in the 78th and 86th minutes.

The win propelled Indonesia to the top of Group A, overtaking Vietnam, which had earlier recorded a 3-0 victory over Timor-Leste in their opening match.

Following the game, Indonesia U-19 forward Arkhan Kaka expressed his gratitude for the positive result, emphasizing that the victory was the product of a collective team effort.

“This victory is the result of the hard work of the entire team. We are grateful for the win,” Kaka said after the match.

Despite the comfortable victory over Myanmar, Kaka admitted that the team had yet to deliver its best performance in the tournament opener. He stressed that Indonesia would continue to make improvements ahead of its next match.

“Although we won, there are still many aspects of our game that need to be improved. We will evaluate our performance and work harder to be better in the next match,” Kaka said.
