Court hearing against the most prominent Islamic State (IS) movement ideologue in Indonesia, Aman Abdurrahman, was postponed because the prosecutors had faced some “technical difficulties” in bringing the defendant out of his cell at the National Police’s Brigade Mobile headquarters (Mako Brimob) detention center on Friday morning, two days after a deadly riot hit the center in Depok, West Java.
The National Police have reported that a police officer, Chief Brig. Marhum Prencje, 41, was stabbed to death on Thursday night by an alleged terrorist Tendi Sumarno, 22, from Tanjung Siang in West Java, who was shot to death immediately after the stabbing incident.
