ravel tours based on the Indonesian hit film Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? 2 (What’s Up With Cinta? 2) are reportedly very popular among Malaysians who partook in a travel event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Aug. 24-25.
Offered mostly by Yogyakarta-based travel agencies, the tours generally consist of four-day and three-night trips. The itinerary includes visits to the film’s shooting locations, such as the Papermoon Puppet Theater in Bantul, Padepokan Bagong Kusudiardja, Punthuk Setumbu, Gereja Ayam (the Chicken Church) in Rhema Hill, Ratu Boko Temple and Breksi Cliff.

“Demand for the tour is quite high,” said Edwin Himna, director of Trendz Tour Yogyakarta, one of the travel agencies that participated in the Indonesia Tourism Table Top event. He told Antara news agency that Malaysian travelers usually prefer to travel in small groups of between two and four people.
In Indonesia, the tour is also very popular, said Trianto Sunarjati from Seta Tours & Travel in Sleman, Yogyakarta. “There are at least 200 people that have booked the tour with us in December." (kes)
